Four one-week sessions taking place from July 8 - August 2, meeting at the University Heights Center, students will learn how to unleash all of the creative potentials of their iPads and other digital equipment to learn how to write a script, record quality video, and sound, and edit their films all in just five days. A "mini-festival" will be held for the final day of camp to screen and discuss each other’s work. The Social Justice Summer Film Camp is an enhanced learning program for Seattle students that encourages them to explore social justice through a creative lens and see themselves as capable storytellers whose voices and contributions have value. Social Justice Summer Film Camp counselors are local college students with an interest in social justice, film, and education.
